Scholarship Benefits

The successful scholars will receive the following benefits:

• Travel allowance (to & from The Netherlands)
• A Living allowance (for 24 months).
• Tuition fee coverage (for 24 months).
• Visa costs 
• Costs for health insurance.
• A budget for one seminar in Europe (registration fee, travel, stay).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Africa Scholarship Programme 2024.

• Only citizens of an African country can apply.
• Must apply for one of the master’s degree programs at Wageningen University.
• Must be unconditionally admitted to the MSc program.
• The applicant is an excellent and proven top 5% student in a bachelor’s program.
• Must demonstrate excellent research abilities.

• Personal Statement regarding prior education (if needed)

How to Apply?

• First, apply for an MSc program.
• Invitation to apply
• All students unconditionally admitted to the MSc program at Wageningen University in March 2024 will be evaluated for the Africa Scholarship Program.
• A select group of candidates will be invited by email on 20 March 2024 to participate in the ASP selection process.

Note: Only candidates will receive an e-mail who are invited to take part in the selection procedure.
