What is The Duration of the Program

The duration of the full-time scholarship for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Integrated PhD is up to 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• An unconditional offer of a place on an ECU higher degree is offered through a PhD or integrated PhD research course.
• Applicants must be able to start their studies on campus by 1 October 2024.

Not Eligible

You are not eligible to apply for this scholarship if:

• You have completed an Australian Research Doctorate Degree or equivalent.
• You have received an Australia Award scholarship or (AusAID) Australian Agency for International Development within the last two years.
• If you have started after Semester 1, 2024 in Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) J42
• If you receive a stipend scholarship income that is more than 75% of the basic stipend rate.
